Disneyland-Cousin Edition!

This weekend, Ginny went and spent a day at Disneyland with her cousins Noah and Micah (who are 2 and 1 year older than her, respectively). She had such a blast!

She got to ride all by herself on Flick's Flyers!!! (ok, ok, Mommy and Daddy were in the same car as her...but she did have a bench all to herself). As you can see, she loved it!

Here we are, hanging out with Micah and Lauren on a bench made out of popsicle sticks!!!!

All 3 kids were so jazzed to ride the big Choo-Choo (Ginny's face isn't quite showing it here, but trust me, she was jazzed).

Here they are, waving to all of their adoring fans who saw them off at the station :)

Partners in crime...had to make them all stand against the fence while the dads put the strollers back together after the train ride, then it was off to Small World.

They all loved playing in Goofy's backyard at Toontown. Did you know that Goofy has a slide in his backyard?

Then, we went on Storybook land, where we got to ride in the front of the boat! That means that Ginny and Micah got to sit on the top, not in some measly old seat like the rest of us...uh oh! What does Ginny see? We're about to be swallowed by Monstro!!

Wow! Everything is so tiny here!

Here's Ginny next to shades..., oh, I mean, Noah.

Then, as if our day couldn't get any better, we got to ride in the every back of the monorail, all by ourselves. (Or is it the front....?)

It was too cool! It was a little bit of a bumpy ride in the back, and Ginny fell asleep before we could return to Tomorrowland (it is a long ride to get from tomorrow back to today back to tomorrow...)

We rounded out the day with a trip to see Pooh and his pots of honey. We went on so many other rides, but lucky for you, we didn't take pictures of all of them ;)

Thanks Noah and Micah, for such a fun day!

Ginny's Hospital Visit

For those of you who haven't heard, Ginny got pretty sick earlier this month, and we ended up in the Emergency Room (twice!). The people at Children's Hospital were wonderful to her, and since it was such a momentous occasion, we decided to document it with some pics.

They had to sedate her at one point to do some tests, so she got all hooked up to the machines to monitor her heart rate, etc. We didn't get a photo op with all of the wires attached to her, but here is the aftermath...what a sad face!

She even had a brace on where they set up her IV line. She was a tough sport that day!

She cheered up a bit once she was able to drink some Pedialyte and read some of her favorite books (after the first emergency room trip, we had a hospital bag packed for her...we came prepared!).

A big thank you to everyone at Children's who helped take care of Ginny!

Zoo Trip

Peek-a-boo!

Oh! this way is much better!

My little valentine!

Here are some belated Valentines Day pictures. As you can see, we spent the day at Lolo and Lola's house.

Playing the piano with Unkie Dex.

Snow Trip!

Back in February, we drove up to the mountains, so Ginny could play in the snow!! We car-a-vaned up there with her cousins, Amber, Joshua, Noah and Micah (and Matt and Lauren, of course).

We forgot the camera in the car while we played int eh snow (sledding and snowmen, and Ginny and Micah made mini-snowballs). Afterward, we all sat down for a picnic lunch at Inspiration Point. It was beautiful up there (and unseasonably warm...we all ended up shedding our gloves, scarves and heavy coats).

Yum, lunch time!

Hanging out with the cousins.

A big snow man!

What a beautiful view!

Happy Easter!

Ginny helped Daddy color Easter eggs last weekend in preparation for the big day. She enjoyed placing the egg in the dye and placing stickers on the eggs once they dried.

Yesterday's festivities kicked off with a family Easter egg hunt. Ginny has been practicing, so she gave her cousins Noah and Micah a run for their money.

Then, it's time for the best part...eating the candy!

Hey, Ginny! That isn't a giant Easter egg!

Then, the Easter Bunny came to our house! Look at all of the cool stuff he left!

He hid those eggs in some tricky places. Some crawling action had to be utilized.

Wow-check out all of those eggs and treats left by the Easter Bunny. Thank you Easter Bunny!!!!

Then, we went to church and it was off to Lolo and Lola's house for more egg hunting and candy.

Happy Easter everyone!

Playing with Elliott

We met up with some family and friends for a post-new years dinner (mexican food...yummy!)

Elliott and Ginny hung out after dinner.

Something is interesting about this table...

Unkie Dex with both of the little ones.

These two at the wheel already...I can just imagine the stress this situation will cause their parents in about 15 years...

15 years! Heck, Ginny seems to be enjoying driving way too much at her tender age!

Wait a second! Is Elliott operating the pedals while Ginny steers? Oh man! We're in for a world of trouble already!

Finally, we top off the night with Ginny and Elliott exchanging belated Christmas presents.
