Evil Queen Pumpkin
Here's one of our pumpkins from this year. We finished them pretty quick compared to other years. It was fun, Ginny enjoyed watching us make pictures out of them.
Getting Ready for Halloween
First, we dressed up for the party at school (this is Minnie costume #1):

Practicing her "parade" Minnie...

A Minnie has to have a healthy start to her day.
Then, the next day, it was on to dress rehearsal #3, complete with a party!
Our Minnie had a Disney reunion with Buzz and Woody.
Ginny got to try bobbing for doughnuts on a string thanks to Auntie Emie and Cousin Heidi.
Daddy got to dress up as a Sumo wrestler thanks to Chris. He said something about growing out of the costume... ;-)

Mommy and Sheik Pappy had a good time too!
Well, that's all for now, photos take time to upload!

Chris Loves Phillip Rivers!
Normally this blog is about Ginny and the doggies. I take a brief moment to recognize that Chris L. stated, and I quote, "Rivers is a [foxy] stud."

Ginny's First Pinata at Brooke's 3rd Birthday Bash!
Hi-ho faithful readers, it's been awhile since I've posted. Anyhoo, Ginny was invited to a joint Birthday Bash for a couple of the newest 3-year-olds on earth, Brook and Chloe. Ginny had a wonderful time playing at the park and got to take her turn hitting the pinata. It was her first time so mom and I weren't sure how she would do. She watched the birthday girls very closely before her turn. Now I don't know if it was the fact that she is a quick learner or whether it was a Dora pinata, but she seemed very eager to take a few swipes at it. Ginny actually yelled out "Explore some pain!" and "Let me set you on your way to explore the ER!" at the paper-mache effigy. I don't know where she learned that language or when she started to string together 11-word sentences, but she did. Check out how she did, what a natural right?

End of Summer
Here are some random pics to show the rest of Ginny's summer.

At the Filipino Cultural Festival in Oceanside. She made Filipino art and watched traditional Filipino dances!

Big girl started trying to use the potty this summer. (tried being the operative word).

Tentatively exploring the caves at Tom Sawyer's Island at Disneyland-leading Daddy.

Hands up! Ginny's favorite ride-Flick's Flyers at California Adventure.

We took Brad and Karen to the beach before they had to go back to the Bay Area.

I love the beach!!!!

Ginny loves her sister Mulan!!

At baptism celebration, part 2.

Follow the leader with Elliott.

Ginny just told Elliott one of my hilarious jokes!

Her first side ponytail!

Having way too much at Noah's birthday party.

Cake is plate-licking good!

The bird show at the zoo (psst...Ginny...there is one right next to your head!!).

She loved the petting zoo!

Ginny has been fascinated recently with going through our Disney World vacation album. She loves to go through and identify the people she knows (Mommy and Daddy) and friends (Mickey, Goofy, etc.)

Look-a duck! (She was trying to lure him in with her fishy shoes)

Gra Gra always finds the best treats at Disneyland (mmmm...Mickey-head rice krispey treat on a stick with icing)!

Hanging out with Lolo in Julian.

Ended the summer by hanging out with baby Hendrix (who's almost a toddler...my, how they grow!).

Ginny's Baptism
Ginny had her baptism at the end of July. Here are some photos of the big day.

The princess got all dressed up.

At the church.

This kid is just wandering around the church. Where are her parents?
At least her fingers aren't in her nose.

As the deacon said a prayer over her as he was baptizing Ginny, she kept yelling, "Amen! Amen!"
She catches on fast :)

Hooray! We did it!

Ginny and us with her godparents, Karen (left of me) and Brian (right of Darwin)

Alright, baptism is over...time to eat!

Here's some of our college friends that came down for the big day. Karen and Brad, two of the godparents, are in this picture.
Their official titles are Ninang Karen and Ninong Brad.

Here are some of Darwin's childhood friends that cam for the big day. Brian and Melissa, the other two godparents, are in this picture.

A big thanks to everyone who came out for Ginny's special day!

Big Cousin
Ginny became a big cousin last month with the birth of her cousin Max. That means Elliott is also a big brother! The day after Max was born, we dropped by to check out the newest addition to the family and eat some dinner.

Crazy Unkie Dex (aka Unkie Quack Quack) acting crazy, as usual.

Here's Baby Max!

Auntie Missi (hey, that's me!) with Max.

This is the best picture we could get with Ginny and the baby. She did go up to him while I was holding him and checked him out and proclaimed "Baby!" After about a minute, he was old news, and it was back to playing with Elliott.

Hey, we're hungry over here at the little kids table! Give us food! Give us food!

Hooray! Very yummy!

Now, it is time to play! Ginny and Elliott were obsessed with the car/track system we got him. Although, I have to admit, I think Unkie Dar had been looking forward to this the most-he couldn't wait to put it together!

Oh, another round of Double Rainbow! When will the madness ever stop!!!
